Step 1.

In Calgary’s fast market, it’s advantageous to be well prepared, to give yourself a clear understanding of your budget, and to empower you to confidently explore your potential homes. With that pre-approval letter in hand, you become a savvy, focused buyer, not guessing and unsure if a home is out of budget. It’s not just about numbers; it’s about elevating your home-buying adventure, making it smoother and more enjoyable from start to finish. 

 

Step 2.

Meeting Your Agent

We have to be a great fit! Selecting the right real estate agent is crucial for the buying process and to ensure you have a positive and great buying experience. Here’s how I can help. 

During our initial meeting we’ll get to know each other, and determine if we fit well working together. We’ll also strategize our game-plan to find you the right home and the key steps to get us there. You will also be getting my custom buyers guide to make sure you know exactly which step of the process we are currently on, and what to expect next. Great for my first time home owners! 

Step 3.

Finding Your Home

How do we find your home? Well we start at the very top that includes the MLS, new construction builds, fore sale by owners, and other more niche offerings. From there we apply our needs and wants, and narrow down the list until we’re left with the ones you love. 

To help you with your search, we’ll set you up on our Market Alerts  so new listings or changes in the market will be sent straight to your email. You will also be provided with neighbourhood data, and comparative data on the homes you’re interested in. This is some of the services that are provided for you, find other services below! 

 

Step 4.

How Do We Make It Yours?

When you’re ready to make an offer in a real estate transaction, it’s like extending a hand to the seller. The seller can choose to accept, reject, or suggest changes (a counteroffer). If they accept, you’re on your way to owning the property. If not, negotiations continue, and it’s a bit of a dance until both sides find common ground or decide to move on. In Calgary’s competitive markets, multiple offers might be in play, adding some suspense to the mix.

We're Moving In!

The possession date and moving-in process is an exciting culmination of a real estate transaction. Once all legal and financial aspects are settled, the possession date marks the official transfer of ownership, making YOU the official owner. On this day, you typically receive the keys to your new home, symbolizing the start of a new chapter in your life. Moving in involves careful planning and coordination, including packing, hiring movers, and ensuring utilities are connected. It’s a moment filled with anticipation and joy as homeowners step into their new space, ready to create memories and make it your own.
